The role of yeast is mainly to convert sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide. In parallel, during fermentation many by-products are produced, determining the quality of the final product.

Yeast are single-celled microorganisms that reproduce by budding and the various strains of yeast are classified in the kingdom of fungi. There are hundreds of varieties and strains of yeast, but the yeast involved in the process of brewery is classified in 2 groups a) yeast for Ales and b) yeast for Lagers.

The first group includes top fermenting yeast. In the end of fermentation, yeast flocculates at the surface of beer. The second group includes bottom fermenting yeast that sediment in the bottom of tank. When we state Brewers yeast we refer to the yeast based on Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, is one of the most valuable natural products in the diet of both animals and humans.

Brewers yeast also has multiple applications in the horse racing and pet food industries. Higher endurance, increased activity, better digestion and a healthier hair coat have been the results. Our collaboration with top breweries guarantees the quality of the raw material.

Our products are guaranteed GMO-free and only have negligible traces of wheat gluten. In contrast to types of yeast derived by using high-volume industrial processes, our yeasts are extracted exclusively as a substrate from a 100% base malt. No molasses commonly available on world markets or other raw materials of undefined origin are used in any of the yeasts we produce. And, no ammonia or ammonia salts are added either. Using these raw materials results in finished products which are largely free of any undesirable additives.

The dietary and probiotic properties of brewers yeast significantly increase the nutritional value of any feed blend. Brewer's yeast - used as 5% supplement - can replace up to 80% of the animal protein in pig and poultry diets provided that additional calcium is added.

Brewer’s yeast has multiple applications and is currently sold as a high-protein additive to aquaculture companies and animal feed producers. It is also used by horses and pets and results to higher endurance, increased activity, better digestion and a healthier hair coat.
