Rigas Mathios - Managing Director: Mr. Rigas has over a decade of consulting and investment banking experience and has structured private equity and mezzanine / subordinated debt transactions in excess of $400 million. He is the President and Managing Director of Capital Connect since its founding. Previously he was in charge Piraeus Prime Bank's Investment Banking unit and created the first shipping / investment banking division in a Greek bank. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Shipping, Energy & Project Finance at Chase in London where he arranged financing in excess of $5 billion. His career started at Arthur Andersen as a consultant in the energy sector. Mr. Rigas holds a Degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from the National University of Athens and a MSc / DIC Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Imperial College.
